Relasi Gender dalam Penggunaan Tenaga Kerja pada Usahatani Nanas

Usahatani nanas merupakan salah satu aktivitas pertanian penting di Kabupaten Lombok Timur, khususnya di Kecamatan Pringgasela dan Masbagik sebagai sentra produksi nanas. Namun, pengelolaan usahatani sering kali belum sepenuhnya memperhatikan pembagian kerja berbasis gender, padahal laki-laki dan perempuan sama-sama berkontribusi dalam proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat peran tenaga kerja laki-laki dan perempuan dalam tahapan usahatani nanas serta mengidentifikasi tahapan yang paling banyak menggunakan tenaga kerja perempuan. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan unit analisis usahatani nanas. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara purposive, sedangkan responden ditetapkan sebanyak 40 petani melalui sampling, masing-masing 20 responden dari Kecamatan Pringgasela dan 20 responden dari Kecamatan Masbagik. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis persentase serta analisis deskriptif berbasis Hari Kerja Orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kerja laki-laki mendominasi sebagian besar tahapan usahatani, terutama pengolahan lahan, penanaman, pemupukan, dan pemberian zat perangsang tanaman. Sebaliknya, tenaga kerja perempuan mendominasi tahap penyiangan dengan persentase 71,70%, sedangkan laki-laki sebesar 28,30%. Secara keseluruhan, temuan ini menunjukkan adanya pembagian kerja berbasis gender yang spesifik menurut tahapan produksi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengakuan terhadap kontribusi perempuan dalam usahatani nanas serta perlunya kebijakan pertanian yang lebih responsif gender untuk meningkatkan kesetaraan, produktivitas, dan pemberdayaan rumah tangga petani.
