Abses septum nasi merupakan penyakit yang jarang terjadi namun dapat menyebabkan komplikasi serius. Kasus abses septum dengan diabetes mellitus (DM) tipe 2 yang tidak terkontrol adalah suatu keadaan yang jarang. Laporan ini menjelaskan tentang kasus abses septum pada seorang pria dengan DM tipe 2 yang tidak terkontrol. Melaporkan kasus abses septum nasi pada pasien dengan DM tipe 2 yang tidak terkontrol dan memberikan penekanan pada pentingnya diagnosis dini dan pengobatan yang tepat. Laporan Kasus: Seorang pria berusia 65 tahun dengan DM tipe 2 yang tidak terkontrol datang dengan keluhan hidung tersumbat, rinore serous, post nasal drip, dan riwayat epistaksis. Pemeriksaan fisik menunjukkan pembengkakan pada septum nasi bilateral. Pemeriksaan penunjang meliputi foto rontgen dan Foto waters yang tidak menunjukkan kelainan radiologis yang signifikan. Pasien menjalani tindakan operasi berupa insisi dan drainase abses septum nasi sinistra, diikuti dengan terapi antibiotik. Pasien menjalani insisi dan drainase abses septum nasi sinistra, serta menerima terapi antibiotik. Pada tindak lanjut terakhir pascaoperasi, pasien tidak mengalami nyeri, hidung tersumbat, atau epistaksis. Gangguan pada telinga dan tenggorokan juga tidak ditemukan. Abses septum nasi pada pasien dengan DM tipe 2 yang tidak terkontrol dapat menyebabkan komplikasi serius. Diagnosis dini dan penanganan yang tepat sangat penting untuk mencegah komplikasi dan mengurangi risiko kematian. Laporan ini menggaris bawahi pentingnya kesadaran klinis terhadap abses septum nasi dan perlunya tindakan segera untuk mencegah komplikasi yang mengancam nyawa.
